Thankful

Hello Monday! Back to reality.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday break. I know I sure did.  We ate (a lot), laughed, and even had a fun little Awkward Family photo sesh. Nailed it.

STYLED! // Theresa Part Deux

Recognize this foxy lady? Yep, it's my dear sister, Theresa's, second round of STYLED!. This time she dons her adorable pair of printed floral pants. Doesn't their pop of red compliment her fiery highlights? I decided the look should be crisp and clean, but still cool. Enter..the sleeveless blouse and black and metallic bead necklace. Add a pair of cut-out leather wedges and she's set!

STYLED! // Courtney

Introducing...Courtney! My leading lady in my second STYLED! sesh. I wish I could take credit for helping with her casual chic look, but this is all her. Oh and her her mom. Courtney has a vintage fashion arsenal kept ready for her picking in her Mom's closet. The necklace, belt, and shoes were successfully borrowed and rocked in an outfit. Lucky girl!

Oh, and lesson for me...check the settings on your camera when using a different speed film! The joys of using a vintage film camera. Even though the pic quality isn't perfect, she still looks fab! Thanks C!

STYLED! // Theresa

I am so excited for this new segment! Inspired by my dear sister, I will now have STYLED! (the explanation point adds something, no?!) posts where I take friend's (and sibling's) favorite things in their closet and help them turn them into a look they love.

This first installment features these fantastic palazzo pants. My tip to my sis, Theresa, was to keep it simple in the top to focus the attention on her bottoms. Theresa had all the best pieces, including the bold carpet belt, which compliments the volume of the pants. I just added the tank from my closet, showing that it doesn't take much and this is totally something she can do!

I had so much fun doing this and look forward to making it a regular thing on city country. She looks lovely, don't you agree?
